Compassionate, driven, and inspirational, Coleen Zinda has
spent the past 35 years dedicated to a career in healthcare.
Helping to improve other's quality of life has been a lifelong
passion as well as encouraging others to be well, safe and
independent.
Currently, Zinda is the Director of Sales for Home Care
Medical, a local home medical equipment company located
in Southeastern Wisconsin. She leads a team of 20+ in Retail,
Sales and Care Coordination. Zinda is a high-energy role model
and leader; she is a mentor, educator and coach to the teams
she leads.
Continuing to grow and learn and keeping up-to-date with the latest concepts and
ideas has helped Zinda stay connected as a relevant leader. Recently, Zinda obtained
her Green Belt by completing a Six Sigma quality improvement project. As a lifelong
learner, Zinda's professional affiliations include membership with the Professional
Women's Network.
Zinda lives and travels between her two loves – her career (near Milwaukee,
Wisconsin) and her family (at a lake in the Northern Kettle Moraine forest). Spending
times outdoors helps Zinda to refresh and reconnect with what is really important.
In 2014, Zinda proudly wrote and published a book entitled, Twinkle in the Sky,
a love story written for her five lovely grandchildren. This short story is for parents and
grandparents everywhere and provides a gentle reminder to spend time with those special
little people . . . sharing time with the children in your life can help provide much joy.
Always willing to give back to the community where she lives and works, Zinda is a
contributor to many local community service projects – most recently helping to build an
all-accessible playground for Kayla's Krew.
When recently asked, "What do I live for?" Zinda responded: My family – showing love in whatever way I can to all of my family members is very
important. Showing support and gratitude for all they have brought to my life and making
sure they know how special each one of them is.
Making someone's day just a little better – this puts a smile on my face and energy
in my step. Whatever joy you bring to someone else comes back to you in ways that you
can't believe.
Helping others grow and expand in their abilities – this has been a personal goal of
mine. I want everyone I touch to expand and be all they can and want to be. I want to help
and support them in any way I can.
Giving thanks to others who have helped me – we are all in this life together and we
really do need to be there to lift each other up.
Zinda lives with her husband, Russell, in Colgate, Wisconsin and future plans include
teaching meditation to children and expanding that blessing to others.
