Nicole Stragalas is a faculty member with University of Phoenix and the principal consultant for Stradivarius Solutions, an organizational development solutions company. She has nearly 20 years of experience in management consulting, teaching, healthcare administration, and human resources development.
Ms. Stragalas has a Bachelor of Arts from Case Western Reserve University and dual Masters degrees—in business administration and health administration—from the University of Florida. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology through the University of Phoenix.
Additionally, Ms. Stragalas is certified as a Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR), and has other certifications in the following areas: Six Sigma green belt, MBTI, and Organizational Effectiveness. She earned her Advanced Facilitator certification from the University of Phoenix in July 2011. Previously, Ms. Stragalas earned the honors of Phi Beta Kappa (CWRU), Young Careerist (BPW), member of Leadership Gulf Coast class of 1995 (Biloxi, MS Chamber of Commerce), and President of the Harrison County Mental Health Association (Biloxi, MS).
A sought-after presenter, Ms. Stragalas has delivered talks and workshops for groups such as the San Francisco ASTD chapter, the Altrusa International chapter in Biloxi, MS, and the Business and Professional Women (BPW) Biloxi, MS chapter. She was a panelist for the Training Director's Forum and delivered a student research breakout session on change management at the Organization Development Network international conference in 2009. Her article "Improving Change Implementation: Practical Adaptations of Kotter's Model" was published in an issue of the peer-reviewed journal the OD Practitioner (January-March 2010).
Areas of consulting expertise include performance system development, organization design, corporate university management, employee engagement, job analysis, job design, selection assessments, learning assessments, and succession planning. She has worked in a number of industries, with expertise in healthcare and financial services.
Currently, beyond her other activities, Ms. Stragalas is writing a book on the implementation of a recruitment revolution, changing recruitment and selection
practices in the United States.
