Hazel Blake Parker is CEO of the Parker Institute for Excellence, LLP. The company provides training seminars and consultation services to nonprofit organizations.  The Institute is dedicated to providing customized, creative, thought-provoking, and results-oriented training. The company delivers training on topics such as diversity, customer service, conflict management, time management, leadership, strategic planning, and board development.

Ms. Parker has over 23 years of experience in management and training. Her certifications include Schwarz Skilled Facilitation, Parenting, Diversity, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Accelerated Learning, and Team Leader. She is also a Certified Grants Consultant, Human Development Consultant, Certified Family Life Educator, and Associate Public Manager.  She is a graduate of South Carolina State University with a BS in Counselor Education and an MS in Individual and Family Development.  She has been employed by the South Carolina Department of Social Services for over 28 years in various capacities.

Ms. Parker has co-authored four books, Becoming the Professional Woman, The Young Woman’s Guide for Personal Success, Women as Leaders: Strategies for Empowerment & Communication, and Life Skills for the African-American Woman.
