Myrtle Looby is President and primary consultant
of LEAP Training Consultants. She is based in Antigua and Barbuda.
She designs and conducts outstanding workshops and training seminars
on a wide range of topics, to diverse audiences throughout the Carribean.
Ms. Looby has had a successful career as a trained
educator for many years. She is an advocate for lifelong learning.
Her background and expertise, coupled with her wide experience working
with adults, have contributed to the passion and dynamism which
she brings to her workshops, seminars, and presentations.

Ms. Looby is passionate about the empowerment of women and
young persons. Her credo is "Personal and professional development
for the realization of one's potential." She is intimately
involved in the development of women and young persons and has volunteered
her time with Lion's Clubs, the Directorate of Gender Affairs, Girl
Guides Association, Leo Clubs, and other youth groups, and has made
motivational presentations at educational institutions.
She is a member of The Professional Woman Speakers Bureau and serves on the International Board of Advisors
of the Professional Woman Network. She also holds memberships in
several public service organizations, including the Professional
Organization for Women in Antigua/Barbuda (POWA), the Performing
Arts Society of Antigua and Barbuda (PASAB), and the Lions Club
of Antigua. She has held several positions on the District Cabinet
60B of the International Association of Lions Clubs.
She is also President and founder of Chrysalis
- Antigua/Barbuda, a non-profit organization whose aim is the
empowerment of marginalized women in the Eastern Caribbean, and
Project Leader of CHOICES - A Life Skills and Personal Development
Program for Adolescent Mothers.
Ms. Looby has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English
and History, a Diploma in Education, a Certificate in Guidance and
Counseling and a Certificate in Gender and Development Studies.
She is available for seminars, workshops and keynote
presentations regionally and internationally.
