Kescia D. Gray, MS, RN, PHN, CHES, is constantly seeking new and exciting opportunities in order to cultivate overall wellness, and to promote high quality health. With 16+ years' experience in the healthcare industry, she is dedicated to educating others on health & wellness issues. Graduating Cum Laude, Kescia earned her Masters of Science degree in Health Services with an emphasis in Wellness Promotion from Independence University in Salt Lake City, Utah, and her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing at Lourdes University in Sylvania, Ohio. She currently holds an active Registered Nursing license in both the states of California and Ohio; is a Certified Public Health Nurse in the state of California, and a national board Certified Health Education Specialist.
In addition to writing a diet and fitness journal, Kescia has co-authored three PWN books and has also written several articles for Corporate Wellness Magazine, one of which was the May 2011 cover feature, 5 Steps to Good Decision Making.
As a Clinical Nurse II, Kescia has been affiliated with the Children's Hospital Los Angeles in the Cardio-Thoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) for 12+ years. She is currently the owner and president of GrayKo Clinical Consultants LLC, a health and wellness education and consulting group dedicated to providing high-quality health education programs, workshops, in-services, and seminars tailored to individuals, small businesses, and corporate clients. In her spare time, she enjoys Pilates and hiking, and is an active volunteer member for the Medical Reserve Corps of Los Angeles, the Disaster Healthcare Volunteers of California, and Project MediShare.
